Intoxication

I was having this little chat with a friend of mine about bad kidneys can cause lower back pain. But of course, back aches are mostly caused by bad posture and stress. She was surprised because she had kidney problem when she was younger. She did not know why she was suffering from back pain all these while until I told her the probability of kidney problem.

I remember when I was younger, I would suffer from terrible back pain that I would resort to sleeping on the floor because the bed is too soft for my comfort. It would worsen during those days of the month. I could hardly sit still for more than 10 minutes. I was like an 80 years old Ah Ma back then.

Little do I know that, those back pain that I was experiencing was not solely from bad sitting posture, but from a very bad habit that I have. Drinking water. I was known to carry around huge water bottle to school. And they are barely enough for me throughout school. I would drink to quench my thirst, to release stress, and to suppress hunger.

At a time, I consumed so much water that I almost put my life to risk. I was hyper-hydrated. I almost die from hyponatraemia. Hyponatraemia causes your brain to swell and it results to death.

Yes, you can die from drinking too much water. As a result of my massive consumption of water, my kidney had to work more than its capability, thus making my back hurt even more. My parents would scold me for drinking water, even until today.

I was under great stress nowadays because assignments are piling up and I can barely cope with the amount of work. I started drinking more water than usual my mum had to hide my water bottle. I cannot help it, ya know? I need water like how drug addicts need their drug. And how smokers need their fag. You know... I'm like a water tank.

The moral of the story is, don't be addicted to water. It is as harmful as drug addiction.

LimKokWing Choir

It feels awkward to be back in a choir after not singing for... hmm... after not singing since I left SONS choir (Symphony Orchestra Negeri Sarawak) Classical division which is after form 5. OMG, it has been 4 years! T_T

I have no idea who and how those LimKokWingers know I was in a choir. OMG, walls have ears somehow so yeah, I was asked to perform during the opening ceremony of my campus. *which was not officially "opened" after 1 year of moving there*

Got to know orang-orang from my college *laughs* It was fun, to my suprise. Usually I don't enjoy meeting people in college. I have no idea why I am not sociable in college. Pelik...

So, I was labeled as one of the "cool" and "unfriendly" student in my college yea... So it's amazing I get to know someone...

Puzzled Box Home?

You're not supposed to feel puzzled when you enter the house. ^^

Actually, our lecturer wanted us to work on a PUZZLE Box House but I'm pretty much puzzled now. I was hoping that I can come out with better design, or at least think outside the box or something. Ah... the whole thing is so... boxy.

Anyways, I'm suppose to be rushing my work now since submission is on Saturday = =

Still, I'm here procrastinating. I have been waking up at 4am every weekend for 3 months now... I am so envious my classmates who sleep till 830, get up shower and attend class at 9. I had to help my mum work early morning, which means I had to sacrifice my sleep and time in the morning for assignments, and rush to college, barely on time. Sigh... I'm exhausted, honestly. Yet, I've been such obedient daughter (I know I'm so guai... ^^).

Yeah, let's not side-track... I'm suppose to come out with a house that measures 3m X 3m X 3m (which is actually smaller than my room! T_T ) I'm practically squeezing everything inside. The toilet, shower, kitchen, living, dining, study, etc. I hope it works since I've playing with the Transformer Toy, hoping to see light from it. LOL. I think I am quite satisfied with the design at the moment. Now I need to work harder on the model and presentation board.

Pray for me... Hope my lecturer likes it as much as I do.

OMG, I MADE CAKE!

Dark Chocolate Truffle

It's my first time making a cake for someone. Make, not bake (chilled cake, since I don't have an oven). Carrot requested for a cake for his 30th birthday. Which also falls on Valentine's Day this year. I did much research online on chilled cake and finally made chocolate truffle (seems to be easiest =X). Though I am so inexperience, I think it turned out pretty well for a first timer. LOL.

How to make it? Easy. Buy lots of dark chocolate (I got sugar-free chocolate since he dislike sweet = =) and cream. Melt the chocolate, add the cream, then freeze. Tada~ You can add digestive biscuit, or Oreo, almond nuts to your liking.

Carrot said it's VERY rich, better and richer than Hilton's chocolate truffle!

Happy Birthday, Carrot!

Well, of course... I spent more than RM 80 on the chocolate itself. And Hilton is already selling the cake around RM80. = =
