I heart set kosong gathering too

Attended by Ping, Tiing, Sheela and myself, it was our first gathering after Lissa left. We went to the new Bing! initially to scout for cute guys to cuci mata, since we stayed indoors for too long, but to no avail. 

We left Bing and headed to Asian Recipe next door (not exactly next door, it's like next next next... door) to have dinner.

We were the noisiest in the restaurant, maybe because we were so hyped about everything. The only time we were quiet was when we have food stuffed in our mouths.

And I had fresh fruits which looks years to arrive on my table because first, they have to plant those papaya trees, watermelon and honeydew plants, wait for it to bear fruits, then harvast it from the farm and serve it to me fresh. We sat so near the counter (according to Tiing, it's for easy payment) so we kept hinting the guy behind the counter on my fruits. Those slow people never get the hint, I had to ask them to check my order.

Sheela, Ping and Tiing decided that they need more toufu and ordered another side dish of japanese egg toufu which of course did not take as long as fruits! Sigh...

We head back to Bing! to find it really crowded. Tiing wanted strawberry banana smoothies but bananas ran out so she had strawberries. I can't remember what Sheela had. Vanilla something? And I had mocha which took them more than 50 minutes to prepare. And the chinese guy I asked said they were too busy to prepare my drinks. What kind of excuse was that?!

It's Christmas

Christmas was like any other day.

Carrot came over to Somerset and had a game of Monopoly with my sisters the whole afternoon (because I left game early, wasn't in a good mood because my arm was hurting from injection). Went for christmas dinner with Carrot at Carvery. Ate lotsa turkeys and yum-yums. Gotta watch my calories intake! No christmas present.

Lately I've been skipping too many cardio sessions. Need to motivate myself before I put on flabs! Still following strictly on low-carbs diet and occasionally will experience light-headedness. 

Oh yea... Today I went to Starbucks at The Spring to have my usual mocha and chef's salad. Guess what I found in my salad? It's staple! I first noticed it on my lettuce and I removed it... Then, I soon found myself chewing on another! Goodness gracious! Luckily I was not hurt. Sue Starbucks. Carrot was not happy to find me chewing on metal and he complained to the staff. They apologized and obviously Carrot was not satisfied with their service. They were like… “You’re not hurt right? I’ll give you vouchers to redeem free drinks.” I did not want their vouchers but I do not want to make them upset with such silly mistakes so I just took it and left, asking them to be more careful. Sure it did tarnish their name.

Next time they should be more careful before getting sued.

Tiredness

After sleeping for 7 hours, I woke up tired. Usually I will be all pumped up if I sleep for such long hours, but no... My back were aching, my throat felt dry. Must be the weather. I really dislike wet season.

• I can't drive my new shinny car out because I despise washing the mud off after that.
• I can't go shopping because I hate going out in the rain. 
• My laundry take days and lots of moonlight to dry.
• I celebrated my birthday in the rain and I hate it.
• It gets really cold in the night.
• I dislike the thought of celebrating christmas when it is raining as well.
• And I think I'm going down with flu soon.

I shall blame the weather for making me tired like this. I used to watch lots of dramas and animes during my holiday but now gah... Tired. I just want to do nothing.

Oh yea, I have been reading John Grisham's The Partner. It is really good! Better than his The Client. But oh, Carrot promised to being me to grab some more of his books today.

I have no program for christmas! Or for eve. Carrot suggested movie and dinner at Carvery. It seems like I have better celebration last year! For both christmas and birthday. Maybe Carrot is really reaching an age where they are settling down and stop partying. Oh no... Ah Phek-ness. Sigh.

I wish Lissa and people are back. At least we will enjoy some crap chats at Bing or something. Oh Lissa and people... Hurry back. I noticed that I am never good at asking my friends out for drink. It's always Lissa. See, I'm so dependant on her. Even wanting a drink, I depend on her. Le sigh... Lissa... Come back soon...

Oh, I received a nicely wrapped present from Lissa! Suddenly I feel intimidated because I did not wrap her present as nice as she wrapped mine. But thank you Lissa! I love it!
